5 - User notes (known deviations)
---------------------------------

* The Smart Card Resource Manager is not Plug and Play on Windows 98SE.
This is a system limitation. You *must reboot* your system after a
reader installation to be able to use PC/SC.

* When going to suspend mode, Windows unloads most device drivers.
Even though device drivers are reloaded on resume, the Microsoft
Smart Card Resource Manager does not update its references to these
  devices.
Note that you might also get the message:
"Reader monitor '' received uncaught error code. The
device does not recognize the command."
We recommend that you configure your computer so that it cannot go
to suspend and that you shut it down instead of using the suspend
  mode.

* If the following message pops up after booting Windows 98:
"VxD reader driver initialization cannot open reader device. The
network request is not supported.", this is because you are trying
to use two readers on Windows 98SE. The Smart Card Resource Manager
has some limitations with multiple PnP readers at the same time
under this operating system. Turn off your computer, unplug one
  reader and reboot.

* After a successful uninstall, if you plug again the device, The system
keeps trace of previous installation. If you want to remove that, you
have to search in "%WINDIR%\inf\other" directory for GemplusGCR433s.inf
and remove it. Next time you will have to redo full install process.

* I wish to Enable WakeUpFeature for my device, This key a device-specific
registry key of REG_DWORD type and is located under the per-device
  "hardware" subkey in the registry
  HKLM\Enum\USB\Vid_08e6&Pid_4433\USB-port-instance-id branch.
for Windows 98/ME, ?WakeupFeatureOn? is located directly under the
  above-mentioned branch.

By default, the key value is ?0? which will disengage the wakeup feature,
that is the device will not wakeup the computer from stand-by.
Setting the value of this key to ?1? will enable the wakeup functionality
of the device. The insertion/removal of a card in the device will
  trigger the system wake.

6. Troubleshooting
